Thibodaux, Louisiana. We headed back in to the Louisiana bayou and took a swamp tour with Lloyd at Zam's Swamp Tours. We were joined by a family from Alabama, parents and two young children. The swamp tour was cool with lots of Spanish Moss growing off of live oak trees and cyprus trees. The family from Alabama was just as interesting. Our guide had a lot of wise words about the bayou; such as "If you can't get along livin' in the Bayou, then you can't get along anywhere." Awesome. Lloyd was on a Fox TV show from back in the day called Trading Spouses. The premise of the show is to switch Moms between two families for a week. Lloyd's lovely Cajun bride traded places with a high strung vegan animal rights activist from California. Things got very interesting. (Lloyd gave us a DVD of the show). Cajuns 1, Vegans 0.
