Georgia Bulldogs 23- Florida Gators 20, Jacksonville, Florida. There is an annual college football game held between the Georgia Bulldogs (of the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia) and the Florida Gators ( of the University of Florida in Gainseville, Florida). This game, for over 90 years has been played at a neutral site (Jacksonville Florida) every year in November. The teams are elite teams in the esteemed Southeastern Conference. We bought our tickets on Stubhub because all 84,000 tickets were sold out. This annual game is called "The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party" for a reason. The tailgating was spirited and it seems that a large number of fans watch the game from the flat screen TVs that are hooked up to generators sitting under tents next to the full-on barbecue units. Turned out to be a good game. Our tickets were in the Georgia section so we wore red and avoided any difficulty. GO DAWGS

  1. Did you and Emily bark like a true Dawg?

  2. Oh, yes we did, fellow Dawg fan. As the Bulldogs kicked off, the Georgia fans made a spooky "Whooooooooooo" sound rising in pitch and intensity until just before the opposing player caught the ball. At the point the fans grunted that famous "argh argh argh argh" Bulldog bark/grunt to complete the gridiron symphony. It appeared to unnerve those shaky Gators!
